Chattanooga Lookout Mountain Hang Gliding School

Rolled from Indianapolis to check out Lookout Mt. TN. Ruby Falls is there=1.5 hour walking into the cave and to the falls. Then on to Point Park five minutes away and the souvenir shop with a 30 minute film of the battle of Chatanooga and neat Civil War aritifacts. Next 12 miles on along the mountain ridge to the Hang Gliding School (world famous) and observations of take-offs from the launch point and then down to the landing area to see the flyers come circling down and land. I'm cutting the trip short and will return to Fort Myers Beach through Atlanta and a quick visit with Lee, Greg, and Sunny Girl. Got to get home to begin planning for moving to a new house just four door down from my present location on the island... So, bye for now. Blessings, regards, and love to all. ==mrcyogi

Indianapolis-The Cadman

Travled up from SW Kentucky, Mammoth Cave National Park, to Indianapolis to visit my old high school buddy, John Cadwalder and meet his wife Donna. We played a couple of golf rounds and renewed a friendship.

Mammoth Cave National Park

Spent 3 days here camping out. Took the Historic Cave Tour, road my bike on trails, and took a Zip line course. The neatest experience for me was when the tour guide turned the lights off in the cave. I've never experiences absolute dark; it was frightening. I'm now in Indianapolis visiting high school buddy, the Cadman--golfing for two days. Then it's off to Lookout Mountain, TN and camping out at the base of the mountain landing zone and watching the hang gliders=possibly take an intro course. We'll see.
